Jonathan Samuel Kent, also known as Superboy, is a superhero in the DC Comics universe. He first appeared in Convergence: Superman #2 (July 2015) as a baby. He is the son of Superman/Clark Kent and Lois Lane.
Unlike previous Superboys, Jon Kent is the biological child of Superman and Lois. He inherited his father's Kryptonian powers, which began to manifest in his youth. Initially, he struggled to control his abilities, leading to some challenges.
Jon's childhood involved living a more secluded life with his parents, as they tried to protect him and teach him how to use his powers responsibly. He eventually embraced his destiny as a superhero, taking on the mantle of Superboy and joining the Teen Titans.
He is known for his optimistic personality and his strong desire to do good. He later aged up considerably after an adventure in space with his grandfather Jor-El. He eventually took on the mantle of Superman when his father was away from Earth.
